According to Webster's Dictionary, the name Smith historically and currently means "maker" primarily one of metal. While I do not hold the skills to be a true old-fashioned Smith, I have discovered my own avenue of expertise where I am able to make my old metal-hitting ancestors proud. Consider me a Wordsmith, rather than a Blacksmith.
On my website, I provide examples of previous work that showcase my WordSmith abilities and experience thus far in my career as both an academic, and as a professional. Along with my portolio of creative social media visuals, I include professional writing samples, and my soon-to-be published academic research article I created and co-wrote alongside a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Outside of my professional passions and experiences, I am a self-awarded professional Norwegian baker, a winter-loving individual, and a dog obsessed who will ask if I am allowed to pet your pup. I believe white wine is superior to red, and that the classic Wisconsin Friday Fish Fry tradition is a sacred one that must be celebrated weekly.
